Its Childrens' Day and I'm not entitled to a holiday. But I got to spend the day like a child.

Being sick is fine if you are "being sick". It's not so nice if you are REALLY SICK. Somehow I linked the 3 days of absence from school to the Fish and Co and the western food in NUS Biz Ad canteen I devoured last Thursday and Friday. Heatiness. But after a second visit to the doctor just now, she finally gave me a potent medicine that finally brought me back to life.

Well for the prelims, Im pleasantly surprised at my results. No AAA. no BBB, but CCE. C for Literature and Geography, both 57 (amazing feat for someone of my calibre) but a stinking E for Math at 45 on the dot. My stats was amazingly better than the pure Maths paper, but paper 1 was so bad it pulled the paper 2 down. Nevertheless, I'm really pleased with the overall results.

Soon it will be another period of frenzy mugging. I feel that the word "mugging" is overused. I hear it everywhere, on the radio, people saying, even myself. However I proudly delcare myself mug-free. Maybe because I had the whole year to do so, and I sometimes wonder if it was worth it. But looking at the vast difference of results, I am convinced that it is.

I can't wait for the final chapter of my education to begin after As. It's almost as exciting as waiting for the new Harry Potter book.

My sister went to Germany for a competition of some sort. I think it was a project that involved students from China, Switzerland, Germany and some other countries I can't remember. She won it consecutively 3 years I think. But this time she handled the whole thing in Singapore herself. So naturally she needed help from me and my brother to help her mark her students' papers and such. Marking them made me thank God that I don't take Chemistry, or Science, for that matter. And I entered her students' CCA records. How quietly amusing it is to see how all of a sudden everyone displays fantastic leadership qualities. So if everyone's the leader, where are the followers!?

As a token of gratitude, my sister promised to buy something for us. Me and my brother opted for a Swatch watch, since she was in Zurich. And I specifically asked for the rainbow strapped one as advertised in the Athens Olympics.

I'm loving it! But then again, it doesn't look EXTREMELY nice. I would gladly have an Omega watch, which Michael Phelps is endorsing, but I'm sure they cost a bomb. I will REALLY REALLY treasure the watch (if she buys it).
