These are photos taken UNKNOWINGLY by tiffy using my phone... The first day of school dinner at kim gary (secretly yawn!)
B!
He really has a huge head.
Had visit to 9, Jalan Siap Road a house with 35 years of tenure left.
Which is why alot of the house was built with the old house's rafters and tiles. A fine example of a building made with reused materials. The house cost 800K. Don't be deceived by it; the low cost was due to the fact that the owner is the contractor. Diao.
These are the old materials...
And this is the house (the fence is also made from reused wood)
The feature wall/fence is made from roof tiles (if I didn't hear wrongly) laid stages by stages ON SITE.
Mrs Tse and whats-his-name lecturer during our archi con in year 1 behind her

Cool car porch without cables to tie back or any of that nonsense

Courtyard! (But the wife demanded the well to be covered up with glass (DIAO.)
Terrence(our part time tutor's) designer chair and table

Ronchamp windows at stair landing (btw each thread and riser of the stair was manually measured and customised wth
Vintage window handles!
These railings are made from the old rafters!
Attic-ish ceiling of the son's room (psst: they are planning to install a ladder to make it accessible up there! how cool is that.)
Is this the IN thing now in private houses? V has the EXACT same "tub" at her place
Check out the column on the outside the groove is DELIBERATELY made and the texture is made with a COMB.
Exposed ceiling/roof of the 3rd floor meant for BBQing and Mahjonging wa lau... really looks very good.
The reason why I showed these photos is actually cos I think my phone camera ROCKS!!!!
