finally. after yet another period of struggle between sleep and conciousness we got them done and all in.

all that rush that was out of the world has finally come to a temporary halt. some things have changed, some are going to end.

CHANGE:
archi has kinda given me a new identity. sometimes the evil side of me will look at others and laugh at them. why?

archi may be the only course in NUS that requires not only mental but physical stamina. for 7 years. you must not only be well versed in the mechanics of how things work (physics and math) but also you have to come out with designs not from nowhere, but from things related to Nature and Man (history music literature to biology) while at the same time be practical and conscious of the materials and place (geography) you use and are building at.

these are only some of the things ive learnt in SEM ONE. these are some of the things no other people will learn except us. can you imagine what more is to come?

im glad im in archi. but somehow i feel i may not make it through the whole course. looking at seniors' works, even my peers' works makes me crumble. i just can't see myself doing things like that in just a few years' time.

things will NEVER be the same without them. its the same for other groups, none of us want to change, but theres nothing we can do about it. so things will end quite promptly, when we remove our belongings from our studio group area, and await for the unknown fate of next semester.

if now we make the promise of meeting up next time, it will turn empty. must we wait till sketching classes before we'll meet again? maybe by that time we'll all be settled into our new groups, and some of us just won't have the initiative to say hi and smile to each other anymore.
